23 weeks

Our little wiggle worm seems to be growing everyday...which in turn means I grow by.the.day.

Honestly, getting bigger is a little taxing mentally and emotionally mostly because it is the opposite direction of how I'm wired, as a woman, to want to go. I suppose that's it. But when clothes aren't fitting and I leave the house feeling bulky in clothes I'd rather not have had to buy, I feel a flutter. And each of those precious little kicks or nudges reminds me of what is in store along this journey. They are my sweet connection of what is to come.

I'm thankful for the lessons that are already being taught. That selflessness is a requirement and I've got a long way to go, but there's always sufficient grace to be had during the learning curve. And thank God for the learning curve!

20 weeks

Here we are at 20 weeks. Officially half baked, folks! We thoroughly enjoyed seeing our sweet babe at our anatomy ultrasound and were so glad that the gender secret successfully remained intact. Baby Bink is quite an active little one (even though I still can't feel a thing) and evidently loves to use my bladder as a pillow.

Michael and I are so thankful that everything checked out normal and perfectly healthy! September, you're welcome to hurry up if you want to (:

18 weeks

18 weeks and I've officially lost the ability to hide a cantaloupe-sized uterus.
Stretchy pants get my vote almost daily.
Lookin' forward to our big ultrasound in 2 weeks so I can stare at my babe for a few minutes, except for certain parts because we want the gender to remain a surprise.

Happy list v19

413. Now that we're out with it...of course Baby Bink is at the top of our happy list. Each.and.every.day our joy grows!
414. Announcing our pregnancy - I'm no preteen, but viral comments are pretty fun to wake up to!
415. Taking shameless selfies to pick out my new Warby Parker's

416. GOAT Sunday's in the park complete with slack lining and boys against girls volleyball
417. Homemade pimento cheese! Another potential repeat (why is it always food?!) but worth a second shout out nonetheless.
418. Weekly pregnancy texts every Thursday
419. Babysitting this sweet and handsome fella
420. Gifted fresh tulips and cowboy bark from Trader Joe's
421. Fresh buds on our red bud tree we planted last year right after we moved in
422. Sunny afternoons spent in the yard with Mike and Sully
423. This Spring weather, y'all. Here's to hoping it is here to stay!
424. Fresh life perspective after time in the Word
425. At home crossfit WOD's with Mike
426. Knowing my mom's boyfriend, Richard, who went to be with the Lord last night. He taught me about the power of a positive attitude, a thirst to know and draw near to God, the joy to be had from a full life lived and the perspective to be gained only from one's end of life.

Blessed far beyond what I deserve.
What keeps you smiling, sweet friends?

Well, here we go!

We are thrilled, absolutely tickled, PUMPED, overjoyed, so excited, admittedly a little nervous all of the above and are so very grateful to be growing our little family. Love this adventure of a life!
